Tangram- the name comes from an ancient contarption from china, an antique-looking external, with a mind-blowing contemporary art piece hidden inside.
Looking at the mosaic pieces at the front door, and the geometrical designs on the floor, the space has a nostalgic atmosphere to it, all thanks to the designer who intentionally preserved the architectural style and flavor of an old workshop factory. Between the multiple artwork lies a systematic moving wall, and with the lighting from the ceiling the masterpieces on display shone brilliantly. Drawing inspiration from the Tangram, the designer ingeniously injected a modern aesthetics into the design, allowing the available space to flourish without restrictions. These two artistic conceptions on polar opposites clash together, yet do a delicate balancing act, and are eventually able to compromise and blossom beautifully. Deeply fascinating indeed
