‘The Bakery’ Newtown, Sydney
This award winning project situated in Newtown, Sydney involved the complete reconfiguration, restoration and redesign of two separate buildings. The small corner shop constructed in 1909 and the much larger warehouse (formerly used as a local bakery) constructed in 1922. Led by the talented PAMMENT PROJECTS team, the design and construction ensured this project delivered the fine workmanship and high attention to detail required.
Revitalising the Walsh Bay Arts Precinct
Walsh Bay Arts Precinct is an outstanding example of adaptive re-use. Breathing new life into a heritage site, showcasing the original character and promoting repurposing existing materials. A prominent, corner sited Edwardian on the crest of Ruckers Hill, has been restored and enlarged with new living spaces in a separate rear-garden pavilion. Pushing the new addition to the back of this site allows a sun-filled pool and garden, and a streetscape expression akin to a garden pavilion; contemporary and street-tough, but a little bit Edwardian in spirit.

Sited amongst the dunes and pine forests along the east coast of New Zealand’s North Island, is a pair of gabled timber sheds. The design references the timber working sheds found in rural New Zealand.The buildings are sited to create an occupation against the dune edge that feels relaxed and timeless.
